Design story:
This project was an interior modernization of an 1890’s Victorian house. Our clients were a creative couple who were living across the country when they purchased this house. We were hired to not only design and space plan all interior spaces of the home, but also to interview contractors and project manage the construction to get the home ready for the clients to make a cross-country move. Re:modern facilitated the entire design and construction process while they still lived out-of-state. We started with a very traditional house whose interiors were all ‘builder beige,’ and transformed it to a bright home that reflected the clients’ unabashed passion for life.
